  • If your auth is working properly and users are able to login, You've launched too late.

  • If you have a single user, You've launched too late.
  • If you bought a domain before you launched, You've launched too late.
  • If your landing page is not returning 404, You've launched too late.
  • if you have production, You've launched too late.
  • If your website has javascript or css, You've launched too late.
  • If you wrote code when you launch, You've launched too late.
  • If you opened IDE, You've launched too late.
  • If you knew programming, You've launched too late.
  • If you have a product or even an idea, You've launched too late.

This is just light-hearted satire. We've taken almost two years building Search Ads Optimization (SAO). However, we had a complex data science and data engineering process that needed to develop in the proper way.

In our defense, we were also involved in developing our iOS apps. In my opinion, for a SaaS that's backend process heavy or if you're targeting B2B or B2E, it's better to have most of the above practices. However, it's still better to focus on one or two core features instead of building a complete array of features.

It's preferable to launch earlier rather than later. In my case, I'd at least like to be sure that my SaaS benefits the user, before I even suggest them our service. There is no one blanket rule that you have to rush your product without at least making sure it actually works. And yes, we're guilty of all of the above.
